QUESTIONS TO ASK 2
Monday came and they were both to resume at their various place of work. Unfortunately they had slept very late cos they were watching movies so they both woke up late, so late that all they could to was have their bath and head straight to work. She wasn't even able to do her makeup.
"How in God's name will she wake up late when she knows quite well that she has to prepare breakfast" he thought as he drove to work. His stomach had been making so much noise requesting for food. He had to buy biscuit and a bottle of coke to avoid fainting. He was not happy.
He got home by 6:00pm, he had survived the day but he honestly could not wait to eat good food. She was no where to be found, she had not come home yet. He called her, she was just leaving the office. He freshened up and went to watch tv still hungry.
She arrived, visible tired, he welcomes her with "baby I'm so hungry", she says nothing, she enters the kitchen and makes dinner.
Dinner is ready, the table is set, he eats, "wow baby this is so good, I love you so much" he said. He goes back to TV watching, he is happy.
She clears up. They go to bed, she performs her conjugal duties. He is happy.
Morning comes, she wakes up a little earlier this time, luckily for her, she had gotten groceries from the market the previous day, she fries egg and boils water.
He wakes up, has his bath, breakfast is served: bread, fried egg and tea. He eats and heads to work, she just begins to prepare for hers.
She ends up being 6 minutes late. "I'll get up earlier tomorrow" she thought to herself.
His day went on smoothly. Everything seemed to be going on very well. He is happy.
She manages to leave work earlier and arrives before he did. She quickly makes okro soup and Eba.
He arrives and dinner was served already, he was not happy, he was ecstatic! "Married life is good sha" he thought.
For the remaining days of the month, they alternated between bread, cereal and spaghetti for breakfast but she ensured she arrived home early to prepare dinner. They had more varieties.
Everything seemed fine. He was happy. Marriage was not as bad as everyone made it to be.
He eventually grew tired of having bread, cereal and spaghetti for breakfast and one day, he told her that he wanted moi moi for breakfast. She was silent for about 10 seconds and then with a smile she replied that it was fine.
On her back from work, she entered her favorite eatery and bought moimoi èléwe.
The next morning, she didn't need to wake up as early as other days because all she needed to do was microwave the moimoi. He was shocked that she woke up later than usual, but he was more shocked to get to the dining to see moimoi. He tasted it, it tasted okay, but there was one issue, it wasn't home made. He was angry. "Why will she go to an eatery to buy food, and waste money. why couldn't she make it by herself?" He just couldn't get it. He proceeded to ask her why she didn't make the moimoi.
She was shocked, "wait!!! Did you expect me to wake up as early as 4am to start washing and pounding beans?" He didn't see anything wrong in that. She felt that that was in humane.
He let it go 'for peace to reign'.
Life continued.
