Peace be still!!!

So I’m deciding to write this right now during the journey.

So I’ve been in Abuja for the weekend, I went by rail and it was a struggle to get tickets. I normally go by road but this time due to sooo many bad reviews and terrible news, I decided to do the train ride but see ehn, I suffered.
The plan was actually to go back by rail too, but something happened and that is why I’m writing this.

So part of the reason I love coming back to Abuja is so I can worship in my church, RCCG, the master’s place and see my children whom I love so much. So in the course of teaching these children, we read the passage of the day which was the story of how Jesus calmed the stormy sea (Mark 4:37-40).
So the basic lesson from the sermon was how as children of God we should never be scared rather we should trust in Him completely .
In the course of me telling the children, A voice whispered to me and it said “you that are telling these children not to be scared, isn’t it the same you that you’re going to enter train cos you’re scared of the road”
Honestly I was shocked.  Also, I’ve always been a crusader of the “practice what you preach“ mantra but here was I teaching one thing and doing the complete opposite.
At that moment I told myself that I was going to go by road and place my entire trust in God to keep me safe.

So yeah, despite the little doubts here and there, I found my way to kaduna park in Mabushi area in Abuja to go by road (which is actually even more convenient and a lot cheaper), and here am
I at 3:08pm in the car typing this and being confident that I’ll reach my destination safely.
